When I first claimed an active voice of positivity, this became one of my favorite phrases. I would frequently recite it on social media, and often idealize it in my writing.
You might go home to play video games and lounge around every day because it’s your routine.
Though, there is something to be feared in an extremely inviting living room. Sometimes there can be just one too many beers waiting for you in the fridge.
While locked into comfortable routines, it becomes very simple to ignore opportunities for new experiences; choosing comfortable habits in their place. Instead, you can commit to developing an authentic personality by choosing to continue experiencing new things and actively developing your unique vision of the world.
If being an “adult” means staying within a cycle of habits, I’d rather be the “immature” guy who gets pushed in the pool.
